Randomly searching for a knitting pattern for a scarf I'm making as a christmas present, I came across THIS, this being Irina Shabayeva's fall 2010 collection. She was the winner of Project Runway season six (they've stopped showing Project Runway on Norwegian television, so I wouldn't know...), supposedly, and OH my WORD are her designs fabulous! The jackets, the prints, the proportions - it's all so splendid! I'm a total sucker for tall collars and heavy layering on the upper body. I'm getting a bit carried away here, but that is due to the total lack of interesting collections lately, from my point of view. I can't exactly place why, but none of the recent output from the fashion world has inspired me especially. However, THIS does!
My favourite is the light blue jacket with the enormous scarf. I don't love scarves, I luuuuuve them... Supposedly, the pattern can be found in the fall 2010 of Vogue knitting - I'd adore to make it, only the amount of yarn required would be positively ruin me.
